General Behavior

They migrate to Mexico during the winter months. They travel 3,000 miles for this migration, which takes place in late summer and fall.

Spring and summer are the breeding months. They lay their eggs on silkwort plants.

Their life cycle is approximately 30 days.

They are active during the day.
